My Chromebook is Lost or Damaged

If your Chromebook simply needs repair:

• First, put in a help ticket. Then...
• If you purchased insurance, repairs are no charge. You will receive a replacement device when you turn in your device for repair.
• If you did not purchase insurance, the first repair is $10 and after that it is $15. You will receive a replacement device when you turn in your device for repair.

If your Chromebook has been stolen, regardless of whether you purchased insurance, you will need to obtain a police report and show this in order to receive a replacement device at no charge.

If your Chromebook has been damaged to the point that you cannot use it:

• First, put in a help ticket. Then...
• If you purchased insurance, the first replacement is no charge. After that, it is $275 per replacement. Payment must be received before another device can be issued.
• If you did not purchase insurance, it is $275 per replacement. Payment must be received before another device can be issued.
